Kenya University Sports Federation Announces the 15th National Women Championships

The Kenya University Sports Federation (KUSF) Secretariat is delighted to announce the 15th Edition of the KUSF National Women Championships, set to take place from 5th to 9th March 2026 at Taita Taveta University.

This prestigious annual event will bring together university teams from across the country to compete in a wide range of disciplines, including:

  • Hockey
  • Tennis
  • Woodball
  • Chess
  • Karate
  • Taekwondo
  • Rugby 7s
  • Badminton
  • Scrabble
  • Ultimate Frisbee

  • Goal Ball
  • Darts
  • Baseball 5
  • Athletics
  • Rollball
  • Volleyball
  • Floorball
  • Tennis

5th March 2026 has been designated as the official arrival day for all participating teams, with fixtures commencing thereafter.

This year’s championships will be held under the inspiring theme:
“Sport as a Bridge for Inclusion and Unity”

Aligned with the celebration of International Women’s Day, the event will highlight the power of sport in fostering equality, inclusion, and solidarity among young women across Kenyan universities.

Speaking ahead of the championships, the KUSF Secretariat emphasized the importance of the tournament in empowering female athletes, promoting diversity, and strengthening the role of sports as a unifying force in society.

The Federation warmly invites all universities, partners, and stakeholders to join in this celebration of women’s sports excellence and community spirit.
