KUSF Invites All Member Institutions to the Emerging Sports Open Tournament

The Kenya University Sports Federation (KUSF) is pleased to invite all its member institutions to participate in the KUSF Emerging Sports Open Tournament, scheduled to take place on 3rd and 4th October 2026 at Meru University.

As the body committed to promoting, developing, and advancing university sports, KUSF continues to create opportunities for student-athletes to explore new sporting disciplines, showcase their talents, and contribute to the growth of emerging sports across the country.

The tournament will provide an exciting platform for university student-athletes to compete, interact with fellow athletes, discover new talents, and embrace the diversity and innovation that emerging sports bring to university sports.

The sporting disciplines will include Baseball, American/Flag Football, Kho-Kho, Ultimate Frisbee, Pool, Woodball, Korfball, Kabaddi, Floorball, Rollball, and Lacrosse.

KUSF encourages all member institutions to take advantage of this opportunity and be part of this exciting tournament. Participation will not only promote the development of emerging sports but will also help create a stronger and more inclusive university sporting community.

Institutions intending to participate are required to pay a registration fee of Kenya Shillings Seven Thousand (KES 7,000) per team.
