Kibet Rono is a distinguished sports administrator and visionary leader currently serving as the President of the Kenya University Sports Federation (KUSF). In this role, he spearheads national efforts to elevate university sports, championing policies that promote inclusivity, talent development, and academic-athletic balance across Kenyan institutions. His strategic leadership has been instrumental in expanding inter-university competitions, enhancing athlete welfare, and fostering partnerships with both local and international sports bodies.

In addition to his national role, Kibet Rono is the Head of Sports at the University of Eldoret, where he oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of sports programs that nurture student-athletes and promote holistic development. His commitment to mentorship and capacity-building has empowered countless young athletes to pursue excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
