KUSF National Play-Off A 2026 at Kabarak University

Kabarak University proudly welcomed student-athletes from across the country as it hosted the 6th Edition of the Kenya Universities Sports Federation (KUSF) National Play-Off A, held from February 19–21, 2026.

The three-day championship officially kicked off with an energetic opening ceremony. Representing Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry Kiplangat, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration & Finance), Prof. Ronald Chepkilot, emphasized the university’s dedication to holistic education—where sporting excellence complements academic achievement. Declaring the games open, he encouraged athletes to compete with passion, fairness, and integrity.

Kabarak University extended a warm welcome to KUSF President Mr. Kibet Rono and senior officials from over 30 universities nationwide. Teams earned their place through rigorous regional qualifiers, representing conferences from:

Nairobi North & Nairobi South
Central & Western
Rift Valley & Coast

The atmosphere on campus is electric as athletes vie for national honours and top positions on the medal table. The closing ceremony on February 21st promises to be a celebration of talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
