KENYA UNIVERSITY SPORTS FEDERATION (KUSF) UNVEILS 2026/2027 SPORTS CALENDAR

The Kenya University Sports Federation (KUSF) is proud to announce its official calendar of events for the 2026/2027 season, a dynamic lineup designed to foster excellence, inclusivity, and international representation in university sports.

From June 2026 through August 2027, KUSF members, student-athletes, and staff will participate in a wide range of competitions, conferences, and international championships. Highlights include:

  • 9th KUSF Central University Staff Games – June 6, 2026 at KUSF Central.
  • 2026 FISU World University Championship Handball – June 21–27, 2026, in Pessac, France.
  • 12th FASU Games & University World Cup Qualifiers – August 9–11, 2026, in Cairo, Egypt, alongside scientific conferences, youth leadership programs, and gender roundtables.
  • International Day of University Sports & 4th KUSF Student Leaders Boot Camp – September 17–20, 2026 at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology (DEKUT), Nyeri.
  • KUSF Emerging Sports Open Tourney – October 3–4, 2026 at Meru University, featuring Baseball5, Flag Football, Ultimate Frisbee, Kabaddi, and more.
  • 4th KUSF PWD Championships – November 21–22, 2026 at the Western Conference.
  • KUSF National Cross Country Championship – January 30–31, 2027 at SEKU.
  • 2nd KUSF National Beach Sports Tournament – February 6–7, 2027 at KUSF Coast.
  • 3rd KUSF Forum – May 27–29, 2027 at Technical University of Mombasa (TUM).
  • Chungcheong 2027 FISU World University Games – August 1–12, 2027, in Korea, with Team Kenya Select representing the nation.

This calendar reflects KUSF’s commitment to advancing university sports through competitive excellence, scientific exchange, leadership development, and inclusivity. Events will bring together athletes, coaches, administrators, and partners from across Kenya and the world, strengthening the role of sports in higher education.
